Week of October 15, 2017

In your daily devotions this week pray for the Church of Swaziland, Southern Africa; St. Luke's Church in Ewing, Gladstone, Metuchen, and Woodstown; St. Luke and All Saints' Church in Union; the ministry of Church Treasurers and Financial Officers; the members and ministry of the Diocesan Archives Department; Clergy in Transition; Emily Holman, Arthur Knight, Anne Lemay, Eddie Lillard, Frederick May, Helen Orlando and Teresa Suruda, deacons of our diocese; Denise Cavaliere and Lynn Johnson, archdeacons of our diocese; George Councell, retired bishop of diocese; and Ronald Lockhart, Donald Turner, and Kenneth Yerkes, priests of our diocese.

The Flowers on the Altar are given to the greater glory of God and in loving memory of Gen and Barry Croll, sister and brother-in-law of Doris Heintz; Ann Campbell, mother of John Campbell; Edna Wagner, grandmother of Wendy Campbell and Jean Johnston, mother of Bob Johnston.

October Food Drive - Suggested donations for October include beef stew, ravioli, chili, tuna and other canned meat and vegetables. As always, other items are also welcome. Thank you very much for your continued support of our food drive for the people served by the Christian Caring Center.

United Thank Offering envelopes are available on the narthex table for those who missed last week's UTO Fall Ingathering. All offerings support the ministry of the worldwide Episcopal Church. Offering envelopes may be left in the collection box next to the envelopes. Thank you.

Stock up your pantry for fall using ShopRite Cards. Cards are available in the narthex following every service and come in denominations of $20.00, $50.00, and $100.00. Cards never expire and every penny can be used until the card is used up. St. Peter's earns 5% of the total value of every card sold. The sale of ShopRite cards is presently our main fundraiser for Redemption School. Please help.

St. Peter's proudly presents South Jersey's Premiere Big Band Jazz Ensemble: The Big Band Express in concert, Friday, October 27, 2017, 7:00 pm, admission free, Freewill Offering is requested.
