Christmas Services 2017
Date posted: Thu, Dec 21st, 2017

Children's Christmas Eve Service at 5:00 pm.
Our children lead us in worship at this Service as Ushers, Lectors, Leaders in prayer, acolytes, and choir. In the opening procession one child is selected to place the "baby Jesus" in the crèche scene in front of the altar as we bless the crèche. As the children lead us in worship, so the Sermon is specially designed for them. If you like to be around children, especially at Christmas this is the Service for you. You should see the children's faces when the lights are turned off and the church is ablaze with candlelight for the singing of Silent Night after Communion!

Festal Christmas Eve Eucharist at 7:30 pm.
This is a full service with Choir, Sermon, Communion, and the singing of Silent Night by candlelight following Communion.

Traditional Christmas Eve Candlelight Mass at 11:00 pm.
Prior to this Service from 10:30 to 11:00 pm will be a congregational Carol Sing as we prepare to celebrate the birth of our Savior. The lights will then be dimmed as candles are lighted for a traditional Midnight Mass by candlelight. Utilizing Rite I (traditional English), come remember Christmas's past as we celebrate the present reality of "Emanuel" God with us.

Christmas Day Eucharist at 10:00 am.
On Christmas morning, before or after presents are opened, join us to celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. We will use Rite I with the traditional Gospel from John "In the beginning was the Word..." Carols will be sung, Sermon preached, and Communion distributed on this great Feast Day.

Lessons and Carols and Holy Eucharist for Christmas on the First Sunday of Christmas, December 30 at 5:00 pm and December 31 at 7:45 am and 10:15 am.
"Let us hear and heed in Holy Scripture the story of God's loving purpose from the time of our rebellion against him until the glorious redemption brought to us by his holy Child Jesus, and let us make this place glad with our carols of praise." (Bidding Prayer for Lessons and Carols)
