In your daily devotions this week pray for the Province of Rochester; St. Bernard's Church in Bernardsville, St. Bartholomew's church in Cherry Hill; the members and ministry for Urban Ministry and the Women's Commission; and Kwabena Owusu-Afriyie, priest of our diocese.

The Flowers on the Altar are given to the greater glory of God and in loving memory of Geoffrey Hedden, husband of Ruth Hedden.

ShopRite Cards continue to be available for sale after all services, in the usual denominations of $20.00, $50.00 & $100.00. Thank you to all who now support or will support our major fundraiser to benefit the 400 students of Redemption School in Gonaives, Haiti. Remember: Each time you purchase a card, St. Peter's receives 5% of the card's value, at no cost to you.

August Food Drive - Suggested donations for August include baby food, formula, peanut butter, jelly and canned soup. As always, other items are also welcome. Thank you very much for your continued support of our food drive for the people served by the Christian Caring Center.

We are in need of a few gently used clean dish towels for St. Paul's in Camden. Please bring them to the office. Thank you.

Fill-a-Backpack Thank You: Thanks to everyone who donated backpacks and school supplies for Oaks Integrated Care. The large bin in the narthex was overflowing. Your generosity will help prepare at-risk children with special needs as they begin the new school year.

St. Peter's Spring Grounds Clean Up Day will be today after the 10:15 service. We'll have lunch for all participants. This is also a great opportunity for young parishioners to meet community service requirements for school, scouts, honor societies, etc. John Colaianni, Vestry Chair - Property and Grounds.

The Protestant Community Church invites all interested persons to share our International Day of Peace, "Loving our Neighbor" event, at 5 PM Sept. 24, followed by a vegetarian meal. Please join us at an interfaith, facilitated, round table discussion. These facilitated discussions will focus on our similarities, differences, and unique traditions of our different faiths. It will give us time to reflect on how we grow in our own faiths, and most important how can we grow as loving neighbors to each other. To register or for more information please call Kathy Roberts at 609 744- 9979. Teens may register for a table with others of the same age.
