We are fortunate to have a terrific staff at St. Peter's. The Vestry is reaching out to parishioners to contribute toward gifts for the church staff. If you would like to contribute toward church staff gifts this December, you may do so by: placing your contribution in a box in the Narthex, placing in the offering, or bringing it to the church office. Please include your name and write "Gift for Staff" on the envelope or memo portion on your check. The Vestry will be accepting monetary gifts from the congregation between December 2 through December 17, 2017 to be put toward Christmas gifts for our seven church staff. The staff members include: Rector, Deacon, Parish Administrator, Treasurer, Sexton, Christian Formation Director, and Organist/Choir Director. Thank you in advance for your generosity. It is very much appreciated – Thank you, St. Peter's Vestry.

Advent Morning and Evening Prayer services begin this week: We invite you to join with others in our congregation as we pray Morning and Evening Prayer throughout the Advent season. Remembering that "when two or three are gathered together in his Name [God] will be in the midst of them," let us gather in praise as we await the birth of our Lord and the coming of the fullness of God's reign. Morning Prayer is read Monday-Friday at 9 am, in Memorial Chapel. Evening Prayer is read Monday-Friday at 7 pm, also in Memorial Chapel.

CENTERING PRAYER GATHERING at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Medford NJ. (One Hartford Rd. at corner of Taunton Rd, Medford NJ 08055). Leaders are Peter Knerr and The Rev. Henrietta Lavengood Tuesday, December 12 at 7:00 PM. We will meet in the candlelit CHAPEL and continue our prayers and practice for Advent. All Curious Ones and Seekers are welcome. Last time we had a good discussion regarding what is important to us individually in Advent in addition to our Meditation and Prayer together for 20 minutes. We will have the opportunity to share our individual Calling from God this Advent. Advent traditionally has lessons of remembering why God sent the Infant Jesus and the Contemplation of Judgment and the Eternal significance of Jesus for Us. We will use one of these lessons in our prayers together.
