In your daily devotions this week pray for the Province of Pittsburgh; the ministry of the Laity; Union of Black Episcopalians; the ministry of the Archdeacons and the Hospital Chaplains; and the members and ministry of the Sudan committee and Convocation Deans.

The Flowers on the Altar are given to the greater glory of God and in loving memory of Charles Klemm, husband of Barbara Klemm; Agnes Lusk, mother of Dave Lusk; Betsy Dow, former wife of Walt Dow; and Lillian Dow, mother of Walt Dow.

ShopRite Cards continue to be available for sale after all services, in the usual denominations of $20.00, $50.00 & $100.00. Thank you to all who now support or will support our major fundraiser to benefit the 400 students of Redemption School in Gonaives, Haiti. Remember: Each time you purchase a card, St. Peter's receives 5% of the card's value, at no cost to you.

August Food Drive - Suggested donations for August include baby food, formula, peanut butter, jelly and canned soup. As always, other items are also welcome. Thank you very much for your continued support of our food drive for the people served by the Christian Caring Center.

Caps & Laps is selling a homemade herb dip to benefit Vacation Bible School. Each dip sells for $3 and comes with the herbs and instructions. An envelope is provided for the donation on the long table.

Operation Fill-a-Backpack: We're collecting school supplies and backpacks for children served by Oaks Integrated Care. Please help fill the labeled bin in the narthex July 29-August 13. Suggestions include backpack for boy or girl, insulated lunch bag, organizers and binders, pens, markers, highlighters, pencils, erasers, notebooks, loose-leaf paper, rulers, scissors, glue sticks, index cards, book covers, report folders, calculators, tissue packets and hand sanitizers. Thanks for your support!

Volunteer Chaplain Aides are needed at Virtual Memorial Hospital in Mt. Holly. Following a training and orientation process, an Aide may donate 2 to 4 hours each week If interested please call 609-914-6365.
