In your daily devotions this week pray for the united Church of Pakistan; the ministry of Church Historians; Clergy in Transition; and Stephen Connor, Jeffrey Roy, Lisa Hoffman, Terrence Rosheuvel, Kara Slade, Derrick Wedderburn, Francis Cho, Robert Kahl, Andrea Hayden, and Andrew Gordon, priests of our diocese.

July food drive - Suggested donations for July include pancake mix, syrup, oatmeal, cereal, and canned fruit. As always, other items are also welcome. Thank you very much for your continued support of our food drive for the people served by the Christian Caring Center.

We are in need of three to four more ushers for the first and third Sunday of each month at the 10:15 service.  If you are interested, please contact the office.

Grocery shopping with a cash card? Try it, you’ll like it!  The International Outreach Team thanks those who faithfully support St. Peter’s companionship with Redemption School, Haiti, by purchasing and using Acme or ShopRite cards. Both cards are available for sale after all services in denominations of $20.00, $50.00, and $100.00.

Sunday School 2018-2019:  As we plan for the 2018-2019 Sunday School year we are in need of teachers for Grades 1-3 and 4-6.  Each grade has 2 teams of 2 teachers who team-teach every other week so that no one is teaching alone in a class.  Curriculum is supplied and as much support and resources as you need is given by your Director of Christian Formation, Sue Legnani.

We also need a teacher and helpers in the Godly Play room (Pre-K to Kindergarten).  Helpers assist the teacher, who is the story teller, by helping the children find and use the materials in the room, help with snack and with getting the children settled for the lesson time.  Training will be given before the start of Sunday School on Sept. 8th.

Finally, we always need folks to watch children in the Nursery (age birth to three years old).  The more Nursery volunteers we have the fewer times you will serve in the Nursery.  This is an important service for parents of young children and a great way for teens to work on community service for school or Scouts.  An orientation to the Nursery will be given to acquaint new volunteers before they are placed on the schedule.

For more information please contact Sue Legnani at  or 609-654-2963.
