Date posted: Fri, Nov 17th, 2017

In your daily devotions this week pray for the Church in Uyo, Nigeria; St. Elisabeth's Chapel by-the-Sea in Ortley Beach; St. Elizabeth's Church in Elizabeth; the members and ministry of the Diocesan Finance Team; the members and ministry of the Standing Committee on Constitution and Canons; the ministry of the Pastoral Response Coordinators; and Dorothy Auer and William Riker, priests of our diocese.

The Flowers on the Altar are given to the greater glory of God and in loving memory of Thomas and Suzanne Williams, parents of Tom and Pamela Williams and mother-in-law of April Williams; Daphne and Alan Pentecost, father of Ann Charles; Liz and Dickie Charles, parents of David Charles; and Dorothy Allen Sears, mother of Lori, John, and Robin Sears and Jane Allsap.

Stock up on Thanksgiving groceries with our ShopRite cards. Available in the narthex every week following all services, SR cards are available in denominations of $20., $50., and $100, never expire, and can be used up to the last penny. St. Peter's uses the 5% we earn on every card sale to help Redemption School pay its faculty.

Are your children already counting the days until Christmas? Help them learn the "reason for the season" with an Advent Calendar and help ensure the education of Redemption School's youth at the same time! Your IOT team is offering beautiful Advent calendars at $4.50 each to help your children (or grandchildren) learn the Christmas story day by day. Find them at the ShopRite Card sales table.

Seeking leaders for Advent Morning and Evening Prayer. Once again this year, we are seeking volunteers to lead fellow parishioners and friends through the services of Morning and Evening Prayer. Each of these short services, held Monday – Friday at 7am and 9pm in Moore Memorial Chapel, offer a time of quiet prayer and a disciplined way to offer God the gift of our time and attention during this busy season. Please use the signup sheet on the narthex table or contact Deacon Helen to volunteer your leadership for one or more of these services. Don't know what Morning and Evening Prayer are? Never tried it before? Deacon Helen will be happy to explain, train, and accompany you through your first services.

Please bring in new 2018 calendars, unused Christmas cards and unused Greeting cards for us to package for the Evergreens Nursing Home in Moorestown. Please package cards in separate rubberbands. A box in the narthex is available. Deadline is Dec. 3. We also need volunteers to help sort on December 4 at 1:00 am. Please contact the office if you can help.

There is always, always, always something to be thankful for...Please join the houses of worship in the Greater Medford Area for a Celebration of Thanksgiving and Fellowship, Sunday, November 19, at 7:00 pm at Medford Friends Quaker Meeting, 14 Union Street, Medford.

The Thirteenth Annual Medford-Vincentown Community Spiritual Breakfast will be held on Wednesday, November 22nd from 7:30 to 9:00 am at the fabulous Medford Lakes Country Club. Many churches in the Medford area participated last year, and we are expecting a sellout crowd again this year. The cost is $17. Please contact the office if interested.

Advent Wreath Workshop: December 3rd is the first Sunday of Advent and we will make Advent Wreaths during the 9 am Sunday School hour. All of the materials to make a wreath for your family will be available (wreath form, evergreen, 4 Advent candles and holders). You are welcome to bring any extra decoration to add to your wreath. We are asking a donation of $5.00 to cover the cost. Please use the sign-up sheet in the Narthex or Sunday School wing so we can make sure we have enough supplies.
