In your daily devotions this week pray for the Church of Sodor & Man, York, England; St. Matthew's Church in Pennington; the members and ministry of the Deacons' Council, the Audit Committee, the Diocesan Communications Team and the Youth Council; Catherine Brunson, Frances Clark, Debra Clarke, John Hanson, Barbara Jensen, Cornelia Spoor and Thomas Sweeny, deacons of our diocese; and Brian Jemmott and Andy Moore, priests of our diocese.

ShopRite Cards continue to be available for sale after all services, in the usual denominations of $20.00, $50.00 & $100.00. Thank you to all who now support or will support our major fundraiser to benefit the 400 students of Redemption School in Gonaives, Haiti. Remember: Each time you purchase a card, St. Peter's receives 5% of the card's value, at no cost to you.

September Food Drive - Suggested donations for September include pasta, pasta sauce, and canned pasta (spaghetti, spaghetti-o's, ravioli, lasagna). As always, other items are also welcome. Thank you very much for your continued support of our food drive for the people served by the Christian Caring Center.

Coffee Hour will begin again after the 10:15 service. Please sign up on the board in the narthex to host. Thank you.

Volunteers are needed for the Homeless - During the week of Oct 15- 22nd St. Peter's will be having families from Family Promise over as guests and we will need hosts to stay overnight during that time. The time frame is from 8:30 pm to 7:00 am, and cots will be provided. Please let me know if you are interested or have questions. Christmas for Thiago and Rubino: It's time for our ChildFund Christmas collection. ChildFund requests St. Peter's monetary donation in October to provide gifts for Rubino in Bolivia and Thiago in Brazil. Both children are in need of new clothing and shoes, books, and groceries for themselves and their families. We cannot send packages because of gift taxes imposed by the receiving countries. Cash, coin, and checks (payable to St. Peter's Church) are appreciated. A donation box is in the narthex. Thank you!

Personal Hygiene and Toiletry Items for our IHN Guests: During the next few weeks, St. Peter's will happily accept donations of the mini-toiletries, tubes of toothpaste, bottles of mouthwash, and free toothbrushes given out by hotels and dentists for the use of our IHN guests. Please place your donations in the donation basket in the narthex. No full-sized items, please. And, thank you!

Millennial Habitat for Humanity build- please contact Beckie ( if you are interested in volunteering! The build will be Saturday September 23 from 8:30-3:30 in Burlington County. Thank you!

Parish Cleanup Day is SATURDAY, September 30 830am - 11am. We will be working outdoors, please bring chainsaw, loppers, wheelbarrow, heavy gloves. Youth are welcome to help carry and haul branches and debris to the curb strip at the Rectory. Service hours will be awarded.
