“Attend” via our YouTube channel, where we will live-stream the service in lieu of gathering in our church for the time being!
Our Prayer Book makes provision for Spiritual Communion: “The Book of Common Prayer reminds us that if one is unable to actually consume the consecrated bread and wine due to extreme sickness or disability, the desire is enough for God to grant all the benefits of communion (BCP, p. 457). When being present at a celebration of the Eucharist is absolutely impossible, this act of prayer and meditation can provide the means by which you can associate yourself with the Eucharistic Action and open yourself to God’s grace and blessing.”
We believe that the act of receiving communion is both physical and spiritual. Most of us are used to receiving the physical bread and wine. For this time, we will focus on receiving the grace, love and mercy given to us through God’s spiritual presence.
